Patient 1536, a female patient named DNT (SN 1942), returned from the US to Da Nang on January 13, and was taken to isolation at the hotel immediately after entry.
On January 14, Ms. T. tested positive for SARS-CovV-2 and transferred to Da Nang Lung Hospital for treatment.

Doctor Phuc also said that at the moment, the patient has shown good progress, is ceasing mechanical ventilation and still has intermittent mechanical ventilation. Infection, heart failure, liver failure, and kidney failure have improved a lot. The venous thrombosis gradually decreased, muscle weakness remained, and the motor function recovered slowly.
After being declared cured, patient 1536 was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to continue treating the underlying disease. Da Nang’s health sector has also sent doctors, nurses and midwives to support patients during their journey from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City.
