What is Vietnam e-Visa?
Vietnam e-visa is an electronic visa system introduced by the Vietnamese government that allows foreign travelers to apply for and obtain a visa online before their arrival in Vietnam. This e-visa is a single-entry or multiple-entry visa that is valid for a stay of up to 90 days. It is available for citizens of eligible countries for tourism, business, or transit purposes. The application can be completed online, and once approved, the e-visa is typically sent to the applicant’s email address as a PDF document.
What is Visa on arrival?
It is one of the two kinds of Visa, which is stamped onto your passport up on arrival at any of Vietnam’s international Airports. This is the quickest and cheapest way to get your visa to Vietnam. You have just to fill in our “secure online form”, pay the service fee, get your “Visa approval letter” within 2 working days and pick up your Visa at your arrival airport (Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, Nha Trang)
Where can I get Vietnam visa?
Getting visa to Vietnam is quite simple and easy now. There are 3 options for getting Vietnam visa:
1/. Getting Vietnam e-Visa (recommended): Visit the official government website for Vietnam e-Visa application (https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt).
2/ Getting Vietnam Visa-On-Arrival (recommended): Pick up at the immigration checkpoint in Vietnam international airports. This is a quicker and easier way than the other, you can have the Approval letter within 2 days or even 8 working hours or 4 working hours. You can ask any Travel agent in Vietnam or refer to us by clicking online application form then we will arrange your Approved letter, this letter used to get onboard and together with your passport and 2 photos to get your visa stamped at Vietnam airport.
3/ Getting Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy: Before coming to Vietnam. You can contact Vietnamese embassy directly for applying Vietnam visa, or get your visa stamped at embassy with pre-approved letter with code (Vietnam Embassy Visa) to pick up Vietnam visa stamp at embassy from Vietnam Immigration Department.
Who need Vietnam visa?
Almost foreign citizens are required to get an entry visa before departure or a pre-approved entry visa (visa is issued upon arrival at Vietnam’s International Airports) supplied before arrival in Vietnam. Only citizens of certain countries can visit Vietnam without an entry visa:
– No visa required for travel less than 30 days: Citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos and Kyrgyzstan.
– No visa required for travel less than 21 days: Citizens of Philippines
– No visa required for travel less than 45 days: Citizens of South Korea, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belarus.
– No visa required for travel less than 14 days: Citizens of Myanmar and Brunei.
– No visa required for travel less than 90 days: Citizens of Chile, Panama
What is entry and exit form?

Can you apply 6-month visas in Vietnam?
Temporary there is no support for 6-month visa in Vietnam.
According to the newly updated information from Vietnam Immigration Department, 6-month visas (single/ multiple) has not been issued since August 24, 2009. Vietnam Immigration only issues 3-month visas (single/multiple) as the longest one. Thus, instead of applying for 6-month visas, clients should apply for 3-month visas (as a longest one up to now).

How does the “Visa approval letter” look like?

Can I use this approval letter for entering Vietnam by land?
No, this type of visa is applicable to air travel only. Three international airports in Vietnam that you can get your stamp with this approval letter are:
- Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi).
- Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City).
- Danang Airport (Danang).
- Cam Ranh Airport (Nha Trang).
- Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong).
How can I receive my “Approval letter”?
A copy of the Visa Approval letter will be scanned with color and delivered to you by email, so please make sure that you have provided us with correct email address.
What is “Visa Approval letter”?
“Visa approval letter” is the letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department that allows you to enter and exit Vietnam for a given period. With the Approval letter you can get your visa at one of the three international airports in Vietnam.
- Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi).
- Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City).
- Danang Airport (Danang).
- Cam Ranh Airport (Nha Trang).
- Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong).

Requirements, Procedures and Tips
What information is needed for processing my visa?
- Your full name (exactly as in your passport)
- Date of birth (DOB)
- Nationality
- Passport Number
- Proposed arrival date
- Proposed exit date
How long in advance should I apply for a visa?
There is no time frame required to apply for a visa in advance. Though it just takes 2-3 working days to get your visa approved, it is strongly advised to apply for a visa to Vietnam in advance from 1 – 2 weeks in advance to avoid urgent fee and unwanted problems.
What should I do to get a multiple-entry visa to Vietnam?
This is quite simple: All Vietnam visas are single entry – unless you have specifically requested multiple entry and this is stamped into the passport. The status of a tourist visa cannot be changed from single entry to multiple entries once you have arrived in Vietnam.
Should I provide you with exact date of arrival?
No, not necessary.
The exact date of arrival is needed just in case you use our Assistant service. We need the exact date to assist you getting you visa stamped at the day of arrival.
What if my passport expired?
To apply for a visa to Vietnam, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Therefore, please re-new your passport before applying for one.
Do I need photo and what is its size?
Yes, photos are required at Vietnam airports only.
Please remember to bring at least 2 photos (2in x 2in or 5.08cm x 5.08cm). No strict requirements on the photo sizes.
Note: If you do not have time to prepare those photos before your departure, you can also get them taken at a Vietnamese airport for 2 USD or less per photo.
Do you require my passport scan?
In most cases, a passport scan is not required for an online visa application. However, if the Vietanm Immigration office wishes to verify the information you provide, you are required to send them a scan copy of your passport. In such cases, we will notify you by email immediately.

Is it the same rate for everyone?

My credit card number is correct, but it is not accepted. Why?
There are a few possibilities:
- The card expiration is incorrectly entered.
- You have reached your credit limit.
- There is a computer error.
- Visa Verified password / MasterSecure Code incorrectly entered.

What is Stamping fee?
Visa Stamping fee is the fee that must be paid directly by you to Immigration Department at arrival airport.
This fee is charged to get your visa printed out, glued (or stamped) onto your passport and sealed after double checking your visa Approval letter.
The visa is stamped onto your passport only if all the information in your approval letter is exactly as in your passport.

Currencies accepted:
The Immigration Officer prefer getting paid by US dollar (in cash). Besides US dollars, you can pay by other strong currencies (RMB, Australian dollars, HongKong dollars, Euros, etc). However, the exchange rate set at Immigration Checking Point is normally 5-10% higher than quotation by banks. Therefore, you should consider which currency suits you most
