What is Stamping fee?

March 31, 2021

Visa Stamping fee is the fee that must be paid directly by you to Immigration Department at arrival airport.

This fee is charged to get your visa printed out, glued (or stamped) onto your passport and sealed after double checking your visa Approval letter.

The visa is stamped onto your passport only if all the information in your approval letter is exactly as in your passport.

Currencies accepted:

The Immigration Officer prefer getting paid by US dollar (in cash). Besides US dollars, you can pay by other strong currencies (RMB, Australian dollars, HongKong dollars, Euros, etc). However, the exchange rate set at Immigration Checking Point is normally 5-10% higher than quotation by banks. Therefore, you should consider which currency suits you most
